What is Pay Per Click Marketing?
This is when you place an ad with a search engine or website and you are charged a fee every time a site visitor clicks on your link. This is also known as a cost per action. Visitor clicks, Site owner gets paid, advertiser pays, hopefully a sale is made, advertiser gets paid, site visitor receives valuable product or service.
Pretty simple isn’t it?
When I first learned about these things, I had to stop and think about which is better. Site owner (publisher) or marketer or affiliate (advertiser). I found large potential in both and I chose to do both. I am a publisher with several of my own web sites and I sell and advertise affiliate products as well.
Pay Per Click Marketing is pretty cool. You can set up a campaign with Google AdWords and have traffic hitting your site quick. You will know if you have a winning product and sales system inside of 48 hours and if you know what you are doing it won’t be expensive.
This is a sure fire way to drive extremely targeted traffic (website visitor who is looking for your offer) to your site. This is done buy using the keywords that any consumer of your product may type into the search engines.
If you were selling 100 watt energy efficient light bulbs, you would use those words and that phrase as your keywords. There are usually hundreds if not thousands of keywords and keyword phrases which can be used for finding interested prospects and getting them on your website.
There are many tools for finding these key words. Google has a free tool right on the AdWords site. Be sure to do your research and align your ads with the correct keywords and keyword phrases.
To Your Success,
